Derry City secured a 2-0 win over Drogheda United on their return to Brandywell Stadium. The Candystripes had played at Celtic Park since the end of April while a new grass-hybrid pitch was installed at the Brandywell.

Cameron Dummigan's superb first-half goal and Adam O'Reilly's injury-time effort secured the three points for Derry City.
Dummigan took a touch and curled a delighted effort into the top corner from James McClean's corner in the 28th minute.
