Derry City's search for a new manager has begun after Tiernan Lynch's departure. The Candystripes board will be looking for someone to lead the team to their first league success since 1997. Interim manager Mark Connolly has been handed a chance to impress, but his lack of management experience leaves a question mark over his credentials. Other contenders include former Celtic midfielder Scott Brown and ex-Ayr United and Fleetwood Town manager. Graham Coughlan has done a decent job at Waterford, while Ciaran Kilduff has Dundalk in the top four of the table. Joey O'Brien is currently out of work after his spell at Shelbourne. The new manager will face a tough task in trying to secure the club's first league success since 1997.
